Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
The American Osteopathic College of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AOCPMR) program will focus on optimizing physiatry and physical medicine and rehabilitation in today’s healthcare environment. AOCPMR will offer a half-day pelvic pain workshop, and other topic areas include combat sports medicine, treating circus performers, treating Paralympic athletes, cancer rehabilitation, and EMG.

Spine Injuries and Treatment of Combat Sports Participants

- Formulate an evidence-based diagnostic, conservative, and interventional treatment algorithm for common combat sports-specific spine pathologies, including cervical radiculopathy, lumbar disc herniations, and transient quadriparesis (""stingers"")
- Apply osteopathic structural assessment and principles—specifically evaluating the structural continuity of the kinetic chain from the sacrum to the cervical spine—to optimize non-operative patient care, enhance somatic dysfunction resolution, and guide safe return-to-play protocols for combat athletes
